What is Leaky Gut?

Allergies. IBS. Autoimmune disease.

Leaky gut.

Leaky gut? What the heck is that? It’s not good, that’s for sure. And it could eventually kill you.

It’s estimated the vast majority of people suffer with leaky gut and many go undiagnosed. Often given inappropriate patent drugs that further poison their already malnourished and toxic bodies.

What happens when the gut has a leak?

First of all, the gut – namely the small intestine -  is like a net with small holes in it. Over time, improper foods, medications, etc. destroy the stomach’s net. Holes in the “net” get bigger allowing undigested food particles and bad bacteria to pass into the bloodstream.

The body recognizes these invaders as toxins and promotes an allergic response to foods creating food sensitivities, skin disorders such as eczema and psoriasis, progressing into autoimmune disease.

“All disease begins in the gut.”

-Hippocrates, Father of Medicine

Hippocrates, Father of Medicine quote "All disease begins in the gut."

  • Depression & Autism

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s or Ulcerative Colitis)

  • Nutrient Malabsorption

  • Respiratory Disease
