Staying Out of the Sun is Dangerous to your Health
We’ve been told our whole lives that the sun causes cancer; it’s dangerous and should be avoided at all costs. And if we’re to venture out into its malignant rays, the only way to come out unscathed is to coat our bodies with copious amounts of “life-saving” sunscreen.
What if everything we’ve learned about sunscreen and sun safety is wrong?
The science is in.
Sun exposure does not cause cancer (it can increase the risk of melanoma, but other factors such as diet and lifestyle play a key role in skin cancer)
Sunscreen does not protect you from skin cancer. Studies prove its harmful chemicals are toxic and cancer-causing
As a matter of fact,
The Journal of Internal Medicine states:
Avoidance of Sun Exposure is a risk factor for all-cause mortality
Sunlight exposure and fair skin are major determinants of human vitamin D production. There is epidemiological evidence that all‐cause mortality is related to low vitamin D levels.
What is all-cause mortality?
Simply put, it is about the likelihood of dying from anything, any disease, accident, or act of violence.
Vitamin D deficiency causes many diseases.
According to J. Mercola, M.D., recent research shows that vitamin D improves survival outcomes for melanoma patients. And has a heightened protection against a number of internal cancers and other chronic diseases, including heart disease, which kills far more people than melanoma does.
Without adequate Vitamin D you put yourself at risk of:
Fatigue & aches
Lowered immune system
Muscle aches & spasms
Symptoms of Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia
Typical Sunscreen is Toxic
Do you use sunscreen? All those ingredients on the back of the label are probably not as safe or healthy as you’d like.
Oxybenzone, typically found in suntan lotion, is a hazardous material. The U.S. Pharmacopieal Convention’s Safety Data Sheet lists it as a health hazard and should not be used as a drug or on humans or animals.
