Each morning as I awake, I listen to my thoughts. Any negative thoughts are quickly turned over by being grateful for the things, experiences and people I have in my life.
As I’m waking from my slumber, I find myself teetering from the feelings of gratitude, to asking God, “What do I need to know, how may I serve?” I know my life here on earth is for a greater purpose than I can fathom.
Once in a great while I wake up heavy-hearted. Curious, I wonder why these thoughts have surfaced and what they mean. Over the years, I have learned that negative, fearful thinking, can set the tone for a “bad day.” One distorted thought can spiral down into another and another, until I find myself deep into a place I do not want to be. My dreadful thoughts create tension in my solar plexus- the area of willpower & control, no surprise there! The solar plexus, located below the top of the ribs and between the chest, is also the area connected to the subconscious mind.
I have to say there are days I look out at the world and view the injustice; crimes being committed against humanity and I am weighed down with melancholy. I weep for the pain and suffering of the world, yet I know as a species we are evolving. I’ve often said humanity is still in the cave; with just a hint of light at the end of the tunnel.
And while there is a profound shift in the world as humanity’s collective consciousness rises, most people are not on the leading edge. The masses have yet to wake from the maya, the illusion of a reality that does not serve them nor the world.
Being on the leading edge is liberating, amazing, and miraculous. For once you see and understand the power you have within you, your life will never be the same.
Are you ready to take a quantum leap? If your curiosity is piqued, read on, there is much to discover beyond the illusion of the reality you see.
