Albert Einstein. Steve Jobs. J.K. Rowling. Henry Ford. Oprah Winfrey. Stephen King. Colonel Sanders. Walt Disney. Abraham Lincoln.
What do these game-changers all have in common?
They failed their way to success.
Recently, I was given a serendipitous gift. You could call it a miracle. I believe as Einstein felt, “There are only two ways to look at your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle, the other is as though everything is a miracle.”
What made my gift so miraculous was that it came 43 years after I made my wish, my intention…
In the early years, I carried a lot of angst and sadness around the event. It was my faith that carried me all these years and the belief that “everything happens for a reason.”
“Each friend represents a world in us, a world not born until they arrive, and it is only by this meeting that a new world is born.” -Anais Nin
Like so many luminaries have discovered, failure to succeed is a catalyst for change. Adversity invariably evolves into seeds of opportunity, when we don’t give up.
If I find 10,000 ways something won’t work, I haven’t failed. I am not discouraged, because every wrong attempt discarded is another step forward.” -Thomas Edison
Whether it’s a health goal, a career goal, or a relationship goal,
NEVER GIVE UP. Do whatever it takes to keep going.
“Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm.”
- Winston Churchill

What You Believe Can Steal Your Dreams
Kill the Television
Mass media isbrainwashing and social control. Repetitious propaganda will have you believing lies and consuming products that are detrimental to your physical, mental and spiritual well-being. Media propaganda can deflate dreams, hopes and aspirations.
This is the philosophy unscrupulous corporations- who own mainstream media, much of the world’s food supply, modern medicine, and the chemical industry- use to control mass consciousness:
"We must shift America from a needs to a desires culture. People must be trained to desire, to want new things, even before the old have been entirely consumed, man’s desires must overshadow his needs.
By engineering consent as the art of manipulating the masses; the undisciplined and those lacking in intellectual and definite moral principles are vulnerable to unconscious influence and thus susceptible to want things they do not need. The main idea behind engineering of consent is that the public should not be aware of the manipulation taking place." -Edward Bernays, 20th Century Master Propagandist
Our family watches television at times, but we choose carefully. No commercials and no mainstream television. (We stream our television through Roku. There are thousands of channels available.) Our viewing consists mainly of programs that are spiritually uplifting, or educate the mind around awareness of health and well-being. On rare occasions we will watch other shows. But we're always mindful of those that send negative, subliminal messages.
Surround Yourself with Positive, Uplifting People
You become the company you keep. Negative people are vexations to the spirit. Choose wisely.
Life is short and you were meant to live it. Not just live it, but live it well.
