We've used them for years. Even believed they were good for us.
Now we know, cooking oils are dangerous to our health!
Here's some reasons why:
1. Virtually every vegetable oil is processed with Hexane, a chemical solvent, that is on the EPA list of toxic chemicals. And according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), it is a neurotoxin. In addition to cooking oils, hexane is found in almost all non-organic soy containing food products.
2. Inflammation (felt as pain and soreness in your body) is produced due to the high amounts of omega-6's and too little healthy omega-3's.
3. Trans Fats
Highly toxic fats associated with an increased risk of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
4. Impaired Brain Health from a diet high in omega 6's and low in omega 3's found in cooking oils has been linked to psychiatric disorders.
5. Highly Refined with virtually no nutrients, the body doesn't know what to do with it except create toxicity.
