Cholesterol & Heart Disease

Heart Disease affects Millions of People

Cholesterol and heart disease affects millions of people throughout the world. In many cases people are not healed but treated with toxic drugs that attempt to mask symptoms while creating even more life threatening problems. Conventional medicine; attempting to heal with drugs and surgery, usually makes issues worse for those at risk of heart disease. According to Joseph Mercola M.D., 1 in 4 Americans over the age of 40 are currently taking statin drugs to lower their cholesterol. Dangerous drugs which are NOT effective at preventing heart attacks.

Please take time to watch the video below titled, “Heart Disease & Statins,” for further education.

Diet & Lifestyle

Your diet & lifestyle has created any “dis-eases” you may have. And while there may be a very small percentage of people who are “unlucky,” the vast majority become ill due to personal food and lifestyle choices. Please peruse the article “Best Bone Building Diet,” for further information on foods that build a healthy foundation.

Your healthy diet should consist of foods grown in accordance to nature; crops that have no synthetic chemicals or fertilizers. Conventional crops or those that are NOT organically grown are virtually devoid of vital minerals and over time cause malnutrition and toxicity. Please see the article “Dead Doctors Don’t Lie.”

Proven Protocol

The following includes our family’s experience with heart disease and Dr. Matthias Rath’s supplement protocol and its efficacy in lowering elevated blood cholesterol, high blood pressure and chest pain.

One day after experiencing arm pain and shortness of breath while at work, my husband was rushed to the hospital. Several tests later, the cardiologists informed us that he needed an extensive treatment to open his blocked arteries. My background in the health field (specifically preventive healthcare), gave me some knowledge around cardiovascular disease, and while questioning the doctors, I became convinced they were not exactly certain of Rick’s diagnosis yet they insisted he would need to take almost 20 medications for the rest of his life and would require a stent to keep his artery open. I looked directly into the doctor’s eyes and said,

“Doctor, cardiovascular disease is not a

pharmaceutical drug deficiency.”

I could not read his eyes, yet his mute response said everything.

Is High Cholesterol Hereditary?

Rick’s personal doctor said he needed a cholesterol lowering drug because his high cholesterol was hereditary and there was nothing he could do to lower it. (His work requires he pass a federally mandated DOT physical every two years and staying healthy and fit is vital to staying in his current position.) He told his doctor to give him 30 days.

I was familiar with Dean Ornish’s groundbreaking work, “Reversing Heart Disease,” but felt the diet protocol was so strict Rick would be too challenged to adopt it as a lifestyle. My desperate hunt to find lifesaving, well-documented data led me to Dr. Matthias Rath. I was pleased to learn his mentor and colleague was Dr. Linus Pauling. Linus Pauling was my mentor and hero in the 1970’s while studying the work of Adelle Davis and other health pioneers.

30 Day Protocol

For 30 days Rick followed a healthy diet of naturally grown whole food with nothing processed save for small amounts of parmesan cheese and organic chicken and healthy organic cereal (as a snack, not a meal, and certainly not for breakfast). Fresh green juices were also a large part of his weekly regimen.

Rick has always been a “sugar bear,” and for years drank cranberry juice while working over the road. To our shock, we discovered that fruit juice, being highly processed is no different than soda or other sugary drinks. And since there is no fiber, the main thing left is sugar. While I’ve understood the Vitamin C connection and good health since the 70’s, the science was just coming out about the harmful effects of sugar in fruit juices.

Avoid processed fruit juices and opt for pure water and organic

unpasteurized milk, especially for children.

It’s crucial that you monitor your sugar intake.

Men should have no more than 37.5 gm or 9 tsp and women no more than 25 gm or 6 tsp of sugar per day.

Read every label. You’ll be amazed at how fast the teaspoons add up.

At the end of 30 days Rick’s lab tests revealed his cholesterol and blood pressure were normal and healthy. His doctor told us, “Whatever you’re doing, keep doing it.” To this day he eats a healthy diet, juices 4-5 times a week (more during a juice fast) in addition to healthy raw, live foods that make up the majority of his diet. He says he’s not a vegetarian, but close. After ten years of a healthy diet, his blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol levels remain normal.

Please note the following supplement list may vary somewhat from Dr. Rath’s current nutrient protocol. These are the supplements Rick took during his healing process. Please note that Vitamin C is critical in healing heart disease. His regimen included at least 1,000 mg every 4 hours, mostly in powder form.

We have been inspired to share this information for those of you experiencing the same life threatening conditions and hope this information will be of value to you.

Synthetic Supplements

IMPORTANT NOTE!!

All nutritional supplements are not created equal. While knowledge is your best insurance, at Eden’s Corner we do extensive supplement

research and choose only those with the highest degree of purity, effectiveness and reputation.

More than 95% of supplements sold today are synthetic, and not surprisingly, created by the pharmaceutical industry. Cheap synthetic supplements are not only harmful, but ineffective as the body does not recognize them as anything but a toxic invader. For more information on the differences between synthetic and natural vitamins read Dr. Group's article here.

Investigative research has uncovered several retailers and brands that make false claims about their products while including ineffective substances that are a waste of your money and may prove dangerous to those with allergies.

Why the Pharmaceutical Industry Does Not Want You to Know This Vital Information.

The main principles governing the pharmaceutical business with disease:

It is not in the financial interests of the pharmaceutical industry to prevent common diseases – the maintenance and expansion of diseases is a precondition for the financial growth of this industry.”

Sugar is Detrimental to Your Health and Depletes Vitamin C in Your Body

Sugar consumption is one of the most important factors that affect cholesterol, heart disease and overall health. Sugar is found in all processed foods under many names. Avoid anything in a box, can or package unless you are absolutely certain of the ingredients. For more information on sugar read here.

The following video describes the investigative research done by David Diamond, Ph.D. who explains the misinformation regarding heart disease and statin drugs.

Heart Disease & Statins

We suggest you consult your healthcare practitioner before beginning any supplement regimen or stopping any medicines you are currently taking. You’ve got to understand that allopathic doctors are not trained to treat their patients in the care of the human body. They have virtually no training in diet and nutrition, and treat symptoms of disease with pharmaceutical drugs. These toxic drugs create even more symptoms resulting in an unbalanced, malnourished-poisoned physical state.

Seek a nutritionally-informed physician such as a functional medicine doctor or naturopathic physician if possible. They have been trained to heal your body holistically; body, mind and soul. Naturally, the way nature/God intended. Find a functional medicine or naturopathic doctor here
