Bananas, in addition to the other nutritious fruits found in this healthy smoothie, contain soluble fiber. Fiber is essential to good health and associated with decreased risk of heart disease.

Plant nutrients in apples can help prevent spikes in blood sugar, making it easier for you to regulate your blood sugar. Oranges contain health-preserving antioxidants and are rich in vitamin C.

Process in your blender. Your drink will be thick, serve with a straw.

For optimum health benefits, drink immediately. May be stored in fridge for several hours. Add fresh seasonal fruits when available. Substitute frozen organic fruit in winter if necessary.
