5 Ways to Cultivate Body Love
Fall In Love With Yourself
What you see is what you get. Or more aptly put,
“What you think is what you get.”
Your thoughts have created your body. Hmmm? Sound like a foreign concept? Think about this for a moment, your mind (thoughts) gave you the choice to eat that donut or pizza or whatever, and your body, its willing subject, obeyed. You knew you should have eaten something healthier but the memory of its taste was still lingering… You wanted to start that exercise program or go walking, but your mind says it feels better to watch a show and hang out on the couch.
What are your body’s assets? Write them down. For example, I am thankful for eyes to see, strong legs, a good heart, etc. Being grateful generates the good feelings your body needs. Write down this affirmation: I Love and Accept Myself Right Now! Say it to yourself in the mirror daily, and remember to smile!
#2 Say I Love You
Stand in front of a mirror and look deep into your eyes. Say I love you. Do this many times throughout the day. Your ego may look back at you with fear and shame. Eventually you will “believe” it as your spirit shines through with love and acceptance.
In December of 2011, I gave a talk to an audience of scientists, Pentagon officials, politicians, and CEO's on the secret of life and how I'd figured it out the previous summer.
Afterwards, people came up individually and told me how much what I'd shared meant to them. This book is based on the truth I spoke about.
Most of us would like a better body but we don’t know where to start. In simple terms the answer is,
“With Your Thoughts.”
Thoughts have power. Most of the time we live by default; going through the motions of everyday life without a constructive plan that will create healthy choices and hence, a healthier body. Your relationship with yourself is the most important relationship you will ever have. It is from this relationship that your higher power/God, other people, finances, health and everything else, evolve. Along with several helpful resources, here are 5 ways to cultivate your body love.

#3 You Are More Than Your Physical Body
You are a beautiful spirit; a miracle that is connected to God/Higher Power. When your thoughts are fearful you are not living from your spirit. Any thought that doesn’t serve your body and soul is not good for you. Be mindful of your thoughts and how they are making you feel.
#4 Know What You Want for Your Body
Do you want healing? Weight loss? Weight gain? Strength? Be specific, get really clear. Write it down and read it every day. It will work if YOU work it. Be faithful, be grateful, be consistent in your thoughts and plans. You are a powerful being, creating your life (body) in every moment.
#5 See Yourself as a Gift
You are a gift to the world, created for a divine purpose. It is your duty to take care of the beautiful body that houses your sacred soul. Your creator has given you an incredible healing system. It’s up to you to take care of it. When you love yourself others will love you too.
