5 Reasons Vegetable Oils Are Toxic
We've used them for years. Even believed they were good for us. Now we know, cooking oils are dangerous to our health!
Here's some reasons why:
1. Processed with Hexane, a chemical solvent, that is on the EPA list of toxic chemicals. And according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), it is a neurotoxin. In addition to cooking oils, hexane is found in almost all non-organic soy containing food products.
United States, and are potentially present as contaminants in all soy food products in which the technique is used; the lack of regulation by the FDA of this contaminant is a matter of some controversy.
Organic foods provide a government-regulated, third-party-certified refuge from foods produced and processed with toxins and potentially dangerous chemicals. Federal standards for organic foods are created and enforced by the United States Department of Agriculture, and prohibit the use of synthetic inputs that threaten the environment and/or human health, including hexane.
2. Inflammation (felt as pain and soreness in your body) is produced due to the high amounts of omega-6s and too little healthy omega-3s.
Excessive amounts of omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) and a very high omega-6/omega-3 ratio, as is found in today's Western diets, promote the pathogenesis of many diseases, including cardiovascular disease, cancer, and inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, whereas increased levels of omega-3 PUFA
(a low omega-6/omega-3 ratio) exert suppressive effects.
3. Trans Fats
Highly toxic fats associated with an increased risk of diseases such as diabetes, heart disease and cancer.
There are two broad types of trans fats found in foods: naturally-occurring and artificial trans fats. Naturally-occurring trans fats are produced in the gut of some animals and foods made from these animals (e.g., milk and meat products) may contain small quantities of these fats. Artificial trans fats (or trans fatty acids) are created in an industrial process that adds hydrogen to liquid vegetable oils to make them more solid.

4. Impaired Brain Health
Impaired Brain Health from a diet high in omega 6s and low in omega 3s found in cooking oils has been linked to psychiatric disorders.
The goal of this review is to give a new understanding of how EFAs determine our brain's integrity and performance, and to recall the neuropsychiatric disorders that may be influenced by them. As we further unlock the mystery of how fatty acids affect the brain and better understand the brain's critical dependence on specific EFAs, correct intake of the appropriate diet or supplements becomes one of the tasks we undertake in pursuit of optimal wellness.
5. Highly Refined Toxicity
Highly Refined with virtually no nutrients, the body doesn't know what to do with it except create toxicity. Vegetable oils are dangerous, full of chemicals and often made from genetically modified seeds.
The source of many vegetable oils – corn, soybean, cottonseed, palm, rapeseed, safflower are highly genetically modified foods that are a burden on the immune system. GMOs and our exposure to them have been linked to a wide range of health issues.
In 2013, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration concluded that these oils are not “generally recognized as safe” for human consumption. The U.S. food manufacturers have until 2018 to remove the primary source of artificial trans fat (partially hydrogenated oils) from their products.
The corporate industrial food oils that scientists have produced, are very cheap due to the enormous tax subsidies paid to the GMO corn, soy, canola (rapeseed) and safflower producers.
